Sound Design
Marvel
Marvel Super Heroes: What The--?! is a hilarious stop-motion spoof of the entire Marvel Universe. Animated by our friends at Jamroll Studios, the shorts burst with playful humor, visual gags, and proper fan service.
Our sound design amplifies that quirky, surrealist action and takes the brilliant animation to a whole new level. Above is a demo of just the SFX.
The Computer Cube
"The Computer Cube" is a collaboration with Jamroll Studios and Computer City Productions. Its immersive sound design was crafted specifically for theatrical viewing. "The Computer Cube" premiered at Dances With Films in Los Angeles and was nominated for "Best Animated Short" at Atlanta Shortsfest.
On Benjamin Franklin
We provided story-driven editing and, of course, our signature sound design for the historical podcast "On Benjamin Franklin."
Featuring Walter Isaacson (the bestselling biographer behind Musk, Einstein and Steve Jobs) and hosted by experimental journalist Evan Ratliff, "On Benjamin Franklin" reached Apple's top five in Society & Culture.
Skyline Drive
Using bespoke atmospheric sound work, Computer City Productions was able to take this iHeart and Kaleidoscope documentary and elevate it to one of Vulture's top podcasts of 2023. Apple Podcasts also chose Skyline Drive as one of its favorite shows that same year.
The Puppy Bowl
To help promote Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl XXII, Computer City Productions collaborated with Masonry NYC on social media content featuring this year’s roster of fuzzy players. In the above video, we scratch-built the soundscape of happy dogs running around a phone while coworkers commented in the background.
